Therapists' Lies in Psychotherapy
This spinoff of the Lying in Psychotherapy lab, led by second year doctoral student Devlin Jackson, looks at the other side of lying in psychotherapy.  Specifically, the lab is exploring the instances in which therapists themselves are dishonest with their clients---when, how often, and for what reasons?  The lab is also looking at how therapists respond when they believe a client is being dishonest with them, including how therapists believe they can identify lies, how they respond, and the ways in which this varies.
