The coupled physical-biological numerical modeling component is also partially funded through a Cooperative Agreement with US Department of the Interior Minerals Management Service (2007-2010).

Data sharing and collaborative agreements have also been made with several federal, state, and local institutions including: Texas Parks and Wildlife Division, Texas General Land Office, NOAA National Marine Fisheries Service, NOAA Flower Garden Banks National Marine Sanctuary, Texas A&M University at Galveston, US Minerals Management Service OCS, the Gulf Coast Ocean Observing System, EPA Gulf Breeze Labs, US Geological Service, Dr. Malinda Sutor and Dr. Mark Benfield (LSU), Dr. James Ammerman (New York Sea Grant) and Louisiana Universities Marine Consortium.
