Cottonwoods in Autumn
Collaborative Goals:
The following are overall Collaborative goals, not
site specific goals. Individual projects should address goal components, however.
  • Protect, restore, and maintain habitat for fish and wildlife species, including Colorado River endangered fish species
    • Projects should promote improvements in river function, flood control, and erosion mitigation (where appropriate)
  • Foster community pride and livelihood through improvement of recreational experiences and opportunities along our rivers
Principles:
  • Collaborative is inclusive; participation is voluntary
  • Landowner goals are respected and supported; expectations for landowners and land managers should be clearly outlined
  • Information sharing and maximization of resources is of priority
  • Outreach and community awareness should be fostered and promoted
  • Projects should be implemented based on a prioritization scheme that promote a high return on invested funds
