Classroom Happenings

Welcome To Kinder

My name is Mrs. Christine Isbell and I am blessed to be teaching Kindergarten again this year!  This will be my 19th year teaching at Holy Family School.  I also have taught preschool, 2nd and 3rd grade.  I have a BS in Elementary Education from SUNY Cortland and an MS in Early Childhood Education from SUNY New Paltz.  I currently live in Liverpool with my husband of 32 years and our 11 year old Chocolate Lab Kody.  We have 2 children Emily, 26 and Matthew, 24.  I enjoy the outdoors, hiking, boating, running, reading and spending time with family.

Kindergarten is a time for children to expand their love of learning, their general knowledge, their ability to get along with others, and their interest in reaching out to the world.  While kindergarten marks an important transition, it is important that children still get to be children.  Kindergarten is a year of growing socially, emotionally, physically, intellectually and spiritually.  I look forward to exploring, learning and collaborating with the kindergarten class.  Thank you fro entrusting your child to Holy Family School.
