We sure are blessed by your donations for art!
We love getting creative with the various items. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

This year we will start off designing our portfolios, and then do artwork with our names and/or initials.

Last year we did artwork based on the Elements of art: line, shape, form, color, space, and value. Texture is next, with mosaics! We painted with dots, drew lines to music, made bubble prints, wire drawings, wire sculptures, collages like Henri Matisse or Eric Carle, and mobiles and/or stabiles like Alexander Calder. We made star shaped tags for the giving tree at St. Augustine's Parish for the refugee community at St. Vincent De Paul Parish. Grades 4-6 painted on leaves, and some were displayed at Beaver Lake Nature Center in March and April. We designed camping vehicles for our Read Across America goal map in March. We submitted art to the Academic Games at Bishop Grimes. Ellen placed 1st for 5th grade for her turtle!
