What is gratitude?

posted 30 Jul 2017, 13:53 by Michelle Virgona
Gratitude is a state of being thankful. When we say “I am grateful” we are showing a feeling of appreciation. To acknowledge others, to say thank you, is a mark of greatness. The courage to thank – that is, the courage to see the gifts and experiences of this world all together as a gift – changes not only the person who gains this insight. It also changes the environment, the world, and those who surround that person.
If you are inspired to learn more, please join us at our parent education evening of gratitude. This is a positive new approach to raising thankful kids presented by guest speaker Dannielle Miller.
