We are eSmart

At Villa Maria we are proud to be an eSmart school. Being eSmart means we have specifically designed policies, strategies and activities to improve the way our whole school community manages cybersafety.

To assist with the running of eSmart, we have a group of eSmart Ambassadors, our eSmarites, who are selected each year from Year 6. The application process was especially rigourous this year, with each applicant creating a short video outlining their commitment to eSmart and their personal value and attitudes about cybersafety.

We are proud to introduce our eSmarties for 2017:

Isabella, Luke, Lachlan, Alyssa, Talia, Scarlett, Eloise, Jasmine, Jack, Alice, Daniela and Amy.

Through their role, each eSmartie will support a specific grade with eSmart Bootcamps; day-to-day troubleshooting and assisting classroom teachers. We are confident our students, staff and the wider school community are well-supported to nurture smart, safe and responsible users of digital technology.

We encourage everyone in the school community to continue to uphold and promote eSmart behaviours, at school and at home.
