Patron Day at Villa Maria

A wonderful whole school celebration took place on Wednesday 21st October. After the hard work of students and teachers we finally commissioned our four house patrons and marked the event with a special Mass and fun day. Our new houses are now:

Marcellin House - St Marcellin Champagnat was a passionate, generous and caring priest who guided others
on a faithful path into living a Christian life.

MacKillop House - St Mary of the Cross MacKillop, Australia's first saint, stands as an example of great courage and trust when showing God's love and compassion to those in need.

Chanel House - St Peter Chanel lived an inspiring life and he is the perfect role model for our school as he represents our school's values ‘Faith, Hope, Courage and Generosity’, through his dedication and courage.

Colin House - Jean Claude Colin inspired many to become a Marist Missionary and proclaim Christ's message in Mary's gentle spirit 'on whatever distant shore' to which they were sent.

After much excitement, the children were treated to a sausage sizzle lunch and participated in various house games to mark this special school event. Thank you to all who contributed to the success of this memorable day.
