Ignite Faith

posted 16 Oct 2014, 00:08 by Michelle Virgona
Last Thursday a small group of Year 6 leaders attended an exciting initiative for Stage 3 students in the Sydney Archdiocese, providing them with the opportunity to encounter Christ in a unique way and to learn more about their faith. It provided them with an opportunity to be inspired and not be afraid to share their faith with others. The conference was held in and around St Mary’s Cathedral. The students heard a keynote address by Bishop Peter Comensoli focusing on the theme ‘Who is my more than a gold coin and walk a mile in a refugee’s shoes'. The day was culminated with a beautiful liturgy celebrated with Bishop Peter Comensoli in the Cathedral Crypt. Congratulations to all the students who engaged wholeheartedly in the experience.
