Homelessness Week

This week is Homelessness Week and as such we would like to acknowledge the contribution that our parents so generously give. We have a dinner shift and a laundry roster set up at Teresa House that parents and staff contribute to each month. The laundry roster is one that two parents wash the 2 bags of laundry maybe once every four months. The dinner shift allows parents and staff to cook a meal for the people who attend the house. They arrive at 6pm and are finished around 8pm.

We have an amazing group of parents and staff who are living out their faith by action and we are so humbled by their generosity of spirit. Teresa House is mostly run by volunteers and is solely reliant on donations from the community as it receives no government funding. If any new parents would like to join a roster or simply get some more information about our outreach program please contact Marea D our Villa Family Educator.
