Final Farewell

posted 29 Jun 2017, 21:30 by Michelle Virgona
I take this opportunity to thank the outstanding staff at Villa Maria. During my brief stay I have been welcomed with open arms and embraced with kind words. The staff at Villa are hard working, committed to our students and tireless in their dedication to their various responsibilities. So in this spirit I name each staff member (alphabetical order) to acknowledge my gratitude - Father Kevin, Father Will, Rosalia, Sylvia, Maggie, Maria B, Mina, Susan, Marika, Alex, Janelle, Marea D, Carol, Stephanie, Sue, Philippa, Mary Anne, Christina, Nicholas, Simone, Tetsu, Meaghan, Gabrielle, Claudine, Kate, Gerry, Amy, Rose, Toni, Maria O, Marea. O.J, Maria. P, Ursula, Christine, Anne Marie, Morag, Kevin, Mary, Michelle, Carolyn, Francesca, Sonia, Cathy, Kate, Clare, Nicole.

Over the term I have endeavoured to record the kindness stories that occur in our community. This book will be shared for a period of time in each class as a reminder of the importance of kind deeds. “No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.” Aesop “Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless.” Mother Teresa

I send a heartfelt thank you to all our families who have made me feel welcome this term. I have been grateful for the warm smiles and social interactions. I send my good wishes for a joyful and successful ‘rest of the year’ with an Irish Blessing. May love and laughter light your days, and warm your heart and home. May good and faithful friends be yours, wherever you may roam. May peace and plenty bless your world with joy that long endures. May all life's passing seasons bring the best to you and yours!
