Principal's Message

I am delighted to welcome you to the St Therese Catholic Primary School website, and describe our vision of providing an outstanding Catholic education for students from Kindergarten to Year 6.

I love this school and, even on days when I am marooned in the office under a pile of paperwork, my spirits are constantly lifted by the passing parade of children, who are always ready to greet me with a smile and a wave. I don’t think I would find this level of warmth anywhere else.

St Therese is a Catholic systemic primary school, situated in the south-west of the Archdiocese of Sydney. We value our serene school setting and contemporary classrooms, which support our vision for learning.

Our teaching and support staff are highly skilled, passionate professionals, and are committed to ensuring that every student receives the best possible opportunities. Our teaching methods and practices reflect the needs of our students and the world in which they live, and our community lives out the motto of ‘Simplex Caritas’ - Simple Love.

As educators, we acknowledge that we share the responsibility of education with parents. Learning is a partnership, and we will warmly welcome your participation and support.

Our school policies and procedures, our approach to pastoral care and the way we relate to each other as members of a learning community reflects the Catholic values we hold. We are blessed to be supported by our Parish Priest, Fr. Tui Paulino Kolio Tu’.

Our website will, I hope, reflect the dynamic nature of our special St Therese community and I welcome you to follow our unfolding story via this site.
