Year 6 School Leaders visit St Mary’s Cathedral On Friday 8th November, the school captains and colour
house captains went to St Mary’s Cathedral to find out how they could be more effective in the Evangelising
mission of the church. They joined students from all primary schools in our area in prayer and activities.
After listening to Sr. Cecilia Rose talk about faith growing like a mustard seed we attended workshops on Eastern Churches and Overseas Aid. We had lunch in the park and went to Mass in the Crypt under the Cathedral. John Burland played the music at Mass and we got his autograph. He wrote lots of the songs we sing in Mass. We returned to school on the train after a great experience that we enjoyed very much. We could hardly stop talking about it. Natalie  and John  ( school captains)
