Enrolment

Enrolment Process

The official enrolment period runs from March to 31st May and all enrolments received in this period are treated equally in accordance with the Enrolment Policy for Sydney Catholic Systemic Schools (see 'CEO Policies' tab for more details). Enrolments may be considered at other times of the year depending on vacancies.

The process for enrolment into Kindergarten is as follows:

  • Ring the school the year before your child is ready to begin school to find out the date for the Open Day so you can experience a day in the life of St Raphael’s community.
  • Attend the Open Day or come to the school to obtain an ‘Enrolment Package’.
  • Complete the Enrolment Package and return to the school office with a copy of the child’s Birth Certificate, Baptismal Certificate and Immunization Certificate.
  • Parents of children born overseas will need to present passports and visas.
  • After the official enrolment period, parents/carers and their child will be invited to attend an interview with the Principal or Assistant Principal.
  • The Enrolment Committee considers all applicants and makes recommendations for positions.
  • Letters will be sent to all applicants informing them of their position.
