St Pius’ is a happy and caring community of students, parents and teachers who work in partnership to serve our school and the wider community. We support outreach programs of Caritas Australia, collect for the St Vincent de Paul Winter Appeal and provide Christmas hampers to the Gethsemane Organisation.
Catholic values permeate all aspects of pastoral care in our school. Our focus on pastoral care ensures acceptance, justice, peace, hope, respect and celebration for all members of our community.

We believe good pastoral care is exemplified by:

  • creating a community in which all students feel happy and safe;
  • high quality teaching and learning which recognises individual differences and meets the learning needs of our students;
  • high expectations of students’ performance, encouraging confidence and positive self-image;
  • recognition of the dignity, self-esteem and integrity of each person.

Our school canteen is operated by Simone on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. If you add your mobile phone number to Simone’s message list, she will SMS you the ‘Wednesday Special’ each week.  Please see related documents for our canteen menu.

Parish of Our Lady of the Southern Cross

Our school works in partnership with our Parish Administrator Fr Christopher Higgins and the Parish of Our Lady of the Southern Cross.
Our parish serves the suburbs of Enmore, St Peters, Sydenham and Tempe and is part of the Catholic Archdiocese of Sydney. Parishioners from these areas worship at St. Pius V Enmore.
Sacramental Programs

Students at St Pius’ prepare for the Sacraments of Reconciliation, First Eucharist and Confirmation through the parish based sacramental program. An Information Evening is held at our school at the beginning of each year.
