During the holidays, on the 3rd and 4th of October, a number of students from St Patrick’s were nominated to participate in Quest Tutorials conducted by Brainways Education, held at the Australian Catholic University at North Sydney. They were Darcey in Year 6; Liro, Grace P, Sebastian from Year 5;  Joaquin, Yana and Chloe H from Year 4; Elijah and Brian from Year 3 and Ryan, Ricca and Dante from Year 1.

The workshops were all outstanding but my favourite workshop was Mathematics because we learnt about Set Theory, a method that is rarely taught. The reason I enjoyed Set Theory the most is for the virtue reason that it was thoroughly engaging, and similar to making a mathematical code that many people can understand. The Mathematics we did proved many unlikely results of setting numbers into categories, which made you think hard for the concluding results. All three Tutorials taught me numerous ideas that I will not forget - Chloe
