Curriculum Corner: Kindergarten Excursion to Symbio Wildlife Park

posted 5 Nov 2019, 16:07 by Jennifer Crippin
On Monday the 28th of October Kindergarten went by bus to Symbio Wildlife Park at Helensburgh. The children were enthralled by the variety of animals and there were many opportunities to get up close. For many children, feeding the wallabies and farm animals was a highlight of the excursion, along with spotting red pandas in the tree and watching the meerkats play with a colourful array of toys! We were given a special talk by two Education officers at Symbio about Australian animals and reptiles. Touching the blue-tongue lizard and patting a ringtail possum were memorable experiences for the children.
