Parents and Friends

At St Patrick’s Kogarah, the active and supportive Parents and Friends Association (P&F) is an integral part in the life and culture of the school. It provides invaluable financial and practical support for the school. There is an executive committee which co-ordinates the running of the P&F, however they rely on the assistance of all parents to organise and support their initiatives. The P&F committee is supported by other parents across the school and these valuable volunteers support the P&F initiatives, assist the P&F in social and fundraising initiatives.

The P&F Association meetings are usually held once a term and alternate between morning and evening meetings to allow as many parents as possible to be part of this important group. The Parents and Friends Association conduct their Annual General Meeting and election of the new committee at the Term 4 meeting.

Some of the P&F initiatives include:

  • Welcome Morning Tea
  • Mother’s and Father’s Day Stall
  • Mother’s and Father’s Day Breakfast
  • School Disco
  • Walkathon
  • Family Nights e.g. Bingo, Trivia
