Community

Our community at St Patrick’s is a warm and welcoming one. We are part of the Parish of St Patrick’s, Kogarah.

We embrace and celebrate our wonderful multicultural community and provide many opportunities for involvement in the life of the school and parish. Contributions from parents, grandparents, parishioners and other community members in a range of activities are always warmly welcomed and encouraged.

We work closely with the Parish Administrator, Monsignor Henryk Micek, in celebrating our Catholic traditions. The school is also directly involved in supporting those in need in our local community, including visits to the local Nursing Home, fundraising and supporting our local chapter of St Vincent de Paul.

St Patrick’s School has developed community links with local agencies such as Kogarah Library, Kogarah Council, Kogarah Fire Station and St George Hospital to enhance the students’ learning and building a broad understanding of the school’s place within the Kogarah community.
