Vision and Mission

At St Martha’s Catholic Primary School our vision is one of working in partnership with parents in the education of our students. We commit ourselves to the development of an authentic Catholic school which:

  • Is founded on Jesus Christ and enlivened  by the values of the Gospel
  • Highlights the relevance of our faith to life and contemporary culture
  • Is embedded within the Parish community and shares in the evangelising mission of the Church
  • Is committed to the development of the whole person.

Under the patronage of St Martha and in partnership with parents and parish we are committed to:

  • Educating students in Catholic beliefs, values, practices and traditions within a faith-filled community
  • Making a difference by fostering an understanding and commitment to the living out of our Catholic faith.
  • Assisting students to develop their relationship with the person of Jesus Christ

  • Providing a stimulating and challenging curriculum that enables students to develop their individual abilities and to strive for excellence.
  • Developing a learning environment that encourages students to be life long learners who are constantly called to use their achievements in the service of others.
  • Empowering students by providing quality teaching and learning experiences that fosters independent learning through inquiry and problem solving.

  • Extending hospitality and welcome to all members of our school and the wider community
  • Creating an environment where each member of the community is aware of their call to build up the Kingdom of God on Earth by using the gifts, talents and achievements for the good of others.
