Enrolment

St Michael’s is a Catholic school. Enrolments at the school are governed by the Archdiocesan Enrolment Policy. The official enrolment period begins in Catholic Schools Week in March and continues until the end of May. Parents may apply for enrolment at any other time of the year.

Children who are enrolled into Kindergarten must turn five by 31 July of the year they commence school. Enrolments take place from the month of March for the following year. It is important that if your child has any special educational needs that you bring copies of any completed assessments when applying for enrolment.

An enrolment form may be collected by parents at any time from the school office for completion. Alternatively contact the school office at info@stmstanmore.catholic.edu.au for an electronic copy. Parents are

required to attend an interview with their child. Interview times will be negotiated between the school and the family.

Enrolments in grades other than Kindergarten occur throughout the year as needed. Initially, the school office should be contacted to arrange an appointment.

You will need to bring with you:

  • Birth certificate
  • Baptismal certificate
  • Immunisation certificate
  • Copy of the last school report.

Applications for enrolment are then put before the school enrolment committee for approval.
