Welcome to St Michael’s Catholic Primary School Stanmore.
Our school is a caring Catholic community, a place of inclusion and welcome, where teachers, parents and students work together to nurture and develop one another as they grow in the Catholic faith and achieve their full potential. St Michael’s is a Catholic systemic primary school located in the Inner Western Region of the Archdiocese of Sydney. The school is close to Stanmore station and is nestled between the Stanmore Village shops and an inviting grassy park, Weekley Park, which is used at lunchtime by the students for play. Before-and after-school care operates on the school premises.
St Michael’s is a single-stream school catering for boys and girls from Kindergarten to Year 6. No particular cultural group is dominant within the school. The school was established in 1912 by the Sisters of Mercy and today continues its proud record in educational excellence and community participation.
