St Mary’s Star of the Sea Primary is a Catholic school. Enrolments at the school are governed by the Sydney Archdiocesan Enrolment Policy (see 'SCS Policies' tab for more details).  2020 Enrolments commence during Catholic Schools Week (4th March 2019) and close at the end of May. Enrolment packages can be collected from the School Office or use the folder link below to print the forms, from this date (4th March).

Children who are enrolled into Kindergarten must turn five by 31st July of the year they commence school.  Enrolments are finalised and positions are offered by the end of June.

An application for enrolment may be collected by parents from the school office for completion. Parents are required to attend an interview with their child. Interview times will be negotiated between the school and the family.

You will need to bring with you:

  • Birth certificate
  • Baptismal certificate
  • Immunisation certificate
  • Proof of residency
  • Passports may also be required

Enrolments in grades other than Kindergarten occur throughout the year as needed. Initially, the school office should be contacted to arrange an appointment.

You will need to bring all the documentation listed above as well as:

  • Copy of the last school report
  • NAPLAN results (if applicable).

Families are expected to support Catholic ideals and principles to be eligible for enrolment.

If your child has any special educational needs, it is important to bring copies of any assessments done. These assessments will then be sent to our Regional Office for advice.
