Principal's Message

Welcome to St Michael's Catholic Primary School, Daceyville.

Our school is a Catholic systemic school located in the eastern suburbs of Sydney. We are a one and a half stream co-educational primary school at the moment, with a current enrolment of 316 students. Our school community includes families from a diverse range of cultural backgrounds.

St Michael's School is committed to the development of the whole child. In a spirit of partnership with parents and the parish of St Michael’s, the school promotes the demonstration of Gospel values, pursues a high quality educational program through a personalised approach to planning and nurtures the uniqueness of each student.

Following in the footsteps of our founding religious orders, we aim for students to know and love God in a caring and supportive environment. Our pastoral care programs focus on building relationships across the community and helping students to communicate openly, solve problems and become more resilient.

As a multicultural school, we place a strong emphasis on the teaching of literacy and numeracy, which is supported by a wide variety of contemporary technological resources. We encourage a healthy and balanced lifestyle through our physical education and health education programs as well as a strong focus on the arts.

Our dedicated and professional staff work closely with the parent community to ensure that each child receives the best educational program we can provide.

We pray that students will see their school as a place of friendship, joy, discovery, challenge and a place to dream of new possibilities.

I invite you to learn more about our wonderful school by exploring our website.
