For Students

Our school community has hopes and dreams for those students who graduate at the end of their primary education. At St Thomas More’s our aim is that they will leave us and contribute to the world as young people who:

  • follow the example of St Thomas More and put God first in their lives
  • are aware of Christ’s love and will continue to strengthen and embrace their Catholic identity
  • thirst for knowledge and have a love of learning
  • respect themselves and others
  • seek the truth in all that they do and have the ability to make sound judgements
  • strive to reach their full potential.

Our School Rules

At St Thomas More’s, we are called to serve with justice, love and truth,

seeing God in all things:

We Respect

Act Responsibly

Everyone is Safe

Student Leadership

At St. Thomas Mores’ we consider all Year 6 students to be leaders of the school. We give them leadership opportunities through various school programs including Peer Support, Home  Group Leaders, Restorative Justice Leadership, Environment Team, Buddy Programs, Mini Vinnies and Library Monitors.

However, some students will be chosen to assume specific roles of leadership.

The Student Representative Council (SRC) is an important part of student leadership. At the beginning of Term 1, two students in each class (Years 2-6), are voted by their peers to represent them on the SRC.
