Canteen Purchases

Students should only be given money for their own use at the canteen and only on infrequent occasions. Canteen purchases should be a treat not an everyday occurrence. Time spent with lining up at the canteen at lunchtime is time away from socialising with friends. Please remind your child to not give their money to any child who may ask and that your child should not ask others for money or for friends to buy items for them.

In addition, we have noticed recently the significant amount of ‘junk food’ students are bringing to school. Foods high in fat, sugar and salt are ‘sometimes’ foods and not to be eaten every lunchtime. Food should not be shared so large party pack size bags of potato chips are best kept at home.

Uniform Reminder

posted 25 May 2014, 16:57 by maria.sabio@syd.catholic.edu.au   [ updated 22 Feb 2017, 04:05 by Elizabeth Jensen ]

All students are to wear their full summer uniform. The uniform standards in the school are very important as it gives a clear message about the pride and care we take in our appearance and our school.

Both boys and girls are to wear  correct socks and neat tidy hairstyles. Hair ties for girls are either yellow or blue or both. Shoes are to be kept clean. Senior students are to replace worn or damaged school hats with a new hat.

Uniforms can be purchased at Lowes Bankstown or through the Lowes online store. Second hand uniforms may be purchased through the School Uniform Pool, located in the library.
