  • feel nurtured by all in our community
  • be listened to and be able to respond to others with confidence
  • receive the best possible education
  • become an advocate for our school motto, 'Live justly, Love tenderly and walk humbly with our God'.

At St. Joseph's students are provided with many ways in which they can participate in the life of the school. These include:

  • Student Representative Council
  • Mini Vinnies
  • Environmental Stewardship Group
  • Chess Club
  • School Choir

House Teams

Upon enrolment each child is placed into a House Team where they will remain from Kindergarten until Year 6. Siblings will always be placed into the same team. These teams are used for the Athletics and Swimming Carnivals, and some other school activities. To honour the rich history of St Joseph's, our house teams have the following names:

Loretto: Blue Tenison: Gold MacKillop: Red La Salle: Green

In addition to regular physical education, the children participate in a number of school carnivals including swimming, athletics and cross country. They are also able to represent our school in interschool events such as swimming, athletics, soccer, netball tag and cross country. The sporting program at St Joseph's emphasises co-operation, enjoyment, team spirit and sportspersonship.
