Grandparents and Special Friends Morning

posted 31 Oct 2013, 21:01 by maria.sabio@syd.catholic.edu.au

This morning the Villa community had the privilege of welcoming over 500 grandparents and special friends to our school. The children were very excited to guide their grandparents around the school showing them all the wonderful things
they have achieved this year.

The highlight of the morning was celebrating Mass together with Father Kevin and Deacon Willy. The students of Villa Maria have a love of the Mass and this was evident in our celebration today.

I would like to thank the staff, students and parent volunteers for making the morning such a positive experience for all. The grandparents and special friends morning is such an important event in our school year and one that we need to continue for many years ahead.
