About Us

St Joan of Arc Catholic Primary School is a Kindergarten-Year 6 co-educational systemic school within the Sydney Archdiocesan Catholic school system. The parish of St Joan of Arc gives pastoral guidance and sacramental liturgical opportunities to the students, staff and families regularly through the year.

Our main building, which dates from 1910 has been fully refurbished, with high ceilings, contemporary classrooms and wide corridors. The second classroom block, comprising classrooms and specialist teaching areas, was added in the 1970s. In 2010 a new school hall was added to the rear of the classroom block.

The school currently has thirteen classrooms, a modern and extensive library, specialist teaching services including Reading Recovery, ESL, Special Needs, Multi Lit and Gifted. The school offers specialist sports programs, music and drama programs and an Italian program through the CoAsIt organisation.

The teaching and learning at St Joan of Arc is done within an authentic partnership between the school and the home, with parents very involved in the difference we try to make for every student every day.
