St Gabriel's Primary is a Catholic school. Enrolments at the school are governed by the Archdiocesan Enrolment Policy.

Children who are enrolled into Kindergarten must turn five by 31 July of the year they commence school. Enrolments take place during the month of May for the following year. Enrolments are finalised and positions are offered by the end of June.

An Enrolment Form may be collected by parents from the School Office for completion. Parents are required to attend an interview with their child. Interview times will be negotiated between the school and the family.

You need to bring with you:

  • Birth certificate
  • Completed Enrolment Form with photo attached
  • Baptismal certificate
  • Immunisation certificate
  • Passports may also be required.

Enrolments in grades other than Kindergarten occur throughout the year as needed. Initially, the school office should be contacted to arrange an appointment.

You will need to bring with you:

  • Copy of the last school report

Families are expected to support Catholic ideals and principles to be eligible for enrolment.

It is important that if your child has any special educational needs, you bring along copies of any assessments done. These assessments will then be sent to our Regional Office for advice.
