The school is continuing to monitor the risk posed by the COVID-19. The Executive Director, Mr Tony Farley, has outlined the measures taken to ensure the health and safety of students and staff. Hygiene regulations particularly around washing hands, using the bathroom and before and after eating are in place. As a precaution students presenting as unwell should be kept at home. We ask everyone to follow these precautions for the safety and health of all in the community.

Child Safe Community

In accordance with Sydney Catholic Schools parents who would like to volunteer in the classroom, at school activities or attend excursions with our school, will need to complete the St Gabriel's Catholic School induction, at the conclusion of the induction parents need to sign the Safe Schools Expectation Document.  A volunteer WWC needs to be obtained by completing the Kidsguardian application online and then going to Services NSW to show identification.  Once you have received your WWC number via email from Services NSW you need to go onto the SCS Child Safe Communities website, click the link and complete the online induction and register your WWC and personal details.  Once you receive confirmation from SCS that you have been verified, please contact the school office via info email address, telephone 9502 1932 or in person.  Please contact the school office if you need any clarification on the above.  Thank you

On Friday the 7th of February, St Gabriel’s celebrated the beginning of our Friendology Lessons by creating an artwork which showed off all students unique qualities and interests. The students did a fantastic job creating their artworks. The artwork to the left was completed by Erin who stated "Work boots represent being hard on the outside and soft on the inside. The soul of the shoe represents the rollercoasters and my imperfections.“

Friendology is the best way to introduce students to the skills, language and strategies needed to build strong lasting friendships.  Friendology gives students the "friendship framework' with comprehensive, progressive lessons that serve as the starting point for embedding our school-wide friendship strategies.
