The community of St Francis Xavier’s is a vibrant and welcoming one. There are many opportunities for involvement in the life of the school, and contributions from parents, grandparents and other community members in a range of activities are always warmly welcomed.

St Mary MacKillop Parish, Rockdale City

St Francis Xavier’s is part of St Mary MacKillop Parish, Rockdale City. Our Parish Priest is Fr Brendan Quirk, who is very supportive of the school community and is actively involved in celebrating liturgical and other special events in the life of the school.

Fr Brendan has a strong commitment towards the spiritual development of the students, staff and parents. The parish and school are committed to building strong relationships and developing a rich faith community. The sacramental programs are parish based. 

The Religious Education program is central to the life of the school, encouraging students to develop a deeper understanding of God, self, others and their world. In addition to this, students are challenged to live out their baptismal promises daily in thought, word and action.
