Information and Communication Technology

Information and Communication Technology is an integral feature of learning at Villa Maria Catholic Primary School and plays a critical role in the student’s development as learners of the 21st century. Classrooms are equipped with multiple devices across dual-platforms, which students use to create content and access digital resources in all subject areas. Students in all years use tablet technology to support and enhance their learning under the guidance of proficient and innovative teachers.

Stage 3 students participate in a BYODD (Bring Your Own Designated Device) program, each bringing an iPad to use as a 1:1 tool for learning. All students undergo well-planned and continuous training in cybersafety and acceptable use of technology.
