St Declan’s Catholic Primary is a Catholic school. Enrolments at the school are governed by the Sydney Archdiocesan Enrolment Policy (see 'SCS Policies' tab for more details). Children who are enrolled into Kindergarten must turn five by 31 July of the year they commence school. Enrolments take place during the month of May for the following year.

Applications for enrolment into Kindergarten commence in Catholic Schools Week the year prior to your intended start date. Catholic Schools Week occurs in March.

An application for enrolment pack may be collected by parents from the school office for completion. Parents are required to attend an interview with their child. Interview times will be negotiated between the school and the family. Parents are encouraged to apply promptly so as not to miss the enrolment period which closes at the end of May.

You need to bring with you:

  • Birth certificate

  • Baptismal certificate

  • Immunisation certificate

  • Proof of residency

  • Passports may also be required.

Enrolments in grades other than Kindergarten occur throughout the year as needed. Initially, the school office should be contacted to arrange an appointment.

You will need to bring with you:

  • Birth certificate

  • Baptismal certificate

  • Immunisation certificate

  • Proof of residency

  • Copy of the last school report.

It is important that parents applying for enrolment are familiar with all of the materials in the enrolment pack to ensure the partnership between home and school maximises the benefits to the children's learning and development.
