St Aloysius is a co-educational Catholic primary school with an enrolment of approximately 230 students. Our school is located in the beautiful beach-side suburb of Cronulla in Southern Sydney.
We are a school that aims to provide a contemporary Catholic education catering for the diverse learning needs of our students. Our school community is committed to the development of each child; spiritually, academically, emotionally, physically and socially.
We believe in the importance of teaching students to be highly literate and numerate. We also recognise the importance of teaching students 21st century skills; the ability to think in creative and divergent ways, the ability to communicate effectively especially through the use of technology, the ability to problem solve and think critically about the world around them, and finally the ability to work collaboratively with others.
St Aloysius Primary School endeavours to provide high quality education for students from Kindergarten to Year Six within a pastorally caring Catholic environment. Our values are founded on those taught by our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ, and we aim to tangibly live out our school motto:
'United in Christ, Making a Difference in Our World'
Our school values the important partnership we share with our parent community, and recognise and supports their role as the primary educators of their child. The school in turn appreciates the strong support provided by our parents.
This website outlines many of the characteristics which make our school a special place to teach and learn. Please enjoy exploring it and feel welcome to contact the school if you require further information.
