For Parents

St Ambrose encourages and actively supports a positive, supportive partnership between home and school. The involvement of parents within the school is highly valued.

Parents are invited to help in classrooms with activities such as Reading, Maths groups, exchange of home readers, group work, digital technologies and creative arts activities. We also encourage parents to help in our school library to return, shelve and cover books.

Parents and Friends Association

The Parents and Friends Association is the formal parent body at St Ambrose. We work in collaboration with the school and are involved with a wide variety of activities including: Parent social events, fundraising. All parents are welcome and are invited to attend meetings, but just as importantly are encouraged to assist with and participate in P&F run events and school functions. Please read the constitution to understand the formal workings and governance of the P&F.

Meetings: Week 4 of each term (minutes can be found on the "Newsletters & Notes" page).

St Ambrose has a very active P&F Association, which is an important part of our whole school community. The Association is set up so parents may become more actively involved in the life of the school. Meetings are held on at least one Monday each term commencing at 7.30pm, and are advertised in the school newsletter.

New members are most welcome and we look forward to seeing you at our meetings.

Uniform Shop: The P&F Association also run the school's uniform shop with the help of the parent volunteers. Please contact the school office for opening hours.

Alternatively you can print the order form by downloading it from this page or pick up a copy from the school office. You can then return the completed form together with payment to the school office or your child's classroom. Your order will be filled and given to your child to bring home.
