About Us

St Agnes' Catholic Primary School is located in the heart of Matraville, with the parish church next door. The school is a single-streamed K-6 school.

A Senior Student Leadership Team comprising of school captains and presidents of the SRC has the responsibility of leading the School Representative Council and allowing for the representation of student voice. The team is also involved in ensuring that our outreach program 'A Heart that Sees' is a major focus for helping those less fortunate.

Student wellbeing is a major focus throughout each year with the implementation of KEMA marital arts to build confidence and a Peer Support Program covering topics such as anti-bullying, positive relationships and resilience.

A School Parent Association works in partnership with the school to ensure that contemporary teaching resources such as readers, laptops, iPads and play equipment are available for all students to support their learning. They also ensure that community spirit is strengthened through social activities for students and parents.
