For Parents

St Anthony's welcomes the opportunity to work collaboratively with parents in a wide variety of ways and there is a significant degree of parental support at the school. Parents assist in classrooms, sporting activities and events, excursions, uniform shop, canteen, Enrolment and Finance Committees and in the promotion of safety issues. The Parents and Friends Association is active in fundraising and social initiatives and generously supports the school.

Parents are encouraged to become involved in their child's learning. At the beginning of each year Parent Information sessions and Parents as Educators courses for Literacy and Numeracy (including Child Protection requirements) are conducted. Attendance at these courses is essential for parents who wish to assist in our school.

Parents and Friends

The Parents & Friends Association (P&F) is a group of voluntary parents who join together to promote a sense of community and support the school in helping to meet the educational needs of the children.

St. Anthony's has an active P & F Association which fulfils an important role in our school community. The P & F enables parents to become more involved in the life of the school. Meetings are held in the School Library once a term at 7.30pm and are advertised in the school newsletter.

New members are always welcome and we look forward to seeing you at our meetings!
