Vision and Mission

St Anthony’s School was founded in 1934 by the Sisters of Mercy. From 1939 to 1986, the school was under the leadership of the Daughters of Charity. The Vincentian charism and commitment to outreach is evidenced in our daily interactions and relationships.

At St Anthony's we believe that Christ is the light for our journey.
Our community demonstrates this by gathering to share and celebrate life within the context of our Catholic tradition.

At St Anthony's we believe our community is enriched when home, school and parish work together.
Through this open partnership all members are valued and nurtured in a spirit of mutual respect.

At St Anthony's we believe in the uniqueness of the individual.
Students are encouraged to accept and appreciate their gifts and those of others in the pursuit of excellence

At St Anthony's we believe in a future full of hope.
Sharing and reflecting on the story of our community enables us to embrace enthusiastically the challenges of the future

Our school motto is 'Let Your Light Shine'. This motto reflects our belief that every child is encouraged to develop his/her talents and use them to help build the school and local community.

At St Anthony’s we believe:

  • that Christ is the light for our journey
  • our community is enriched when home, school and parish work together
  • in the uniqueness of the individual
  • in a future full of hope.
