Student Wellbeing

At St Anthony's Primary School, Clovelly we believe that every person has the right to be respected and all children have the right to be educated in a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment.

Positive reinforcement promotes self-esteem and is important for the total development of each child. Each child's talents and achievements should be acknowledged and celebrated. Positive role modelling encourages children to respect and care for others in the community.

The school's Student Wellbeing Policy is based on the principles of Restorative Justice and procedural fairness. All staff have attended professional development in these principles. The school's Student Wellbeing policy has been developed in consultation with staff, parents and students. This policy reflects the Vision and Mission of the Catholic Church and is characterised by safety, trust and mutual respect.
