Enrolment

Enrolment at St Peter Chanel Catholic Primary school is made on the understanding that parents and students appreciate that education in the Catholic faith is foundational to the educational process, and that active support of the values of the Catholic education system is expected of all families. This includes placing Jesus and the values of the Gospel at the heart of all we do, and focusing on a holistic education which highlights the relevance of faith to contemporary life and culture.

St Peter Chanel Catholic Primary School is part of the system of Catholic schools administered by the Catholic Education Office of the Archdiocese of Sydney. We are supported by the Parish of St Peter Chanel Berala. When you consider enroling your child in our school, there are many things for you to consider, the most important being your reasons for seeking a Catholic education for your child.

Conditions of Enrolment

Evidence of commitment to St Peter Chanel Catholic Primary School on the part of the student and family would include:
  • demonstration of a willingness to support the ethos of the Catholic school
  • support for School policies and practices mentioned in the Parent Handbook
  • active participation by the student in all educational programs
  • acceptance of responsibility in payment of school fees, the building levy and other charges.

Essential Documentation

The following original documentation MUST be supplied when returning the completed Application for Enrolment Form:
  • Birth certificate
  • Baptismal certificate
  • Copies of any family law or other relevant court orders (if applicable)
  • Passport (if born overseas)
  • Immunisation certificate
  • Pre-school/school report
  • Any relevant medical and/or special needs information/assessments
  • Medicare card
  • Proof of Australian citizenship (if both parents were born overseas).
