Enrolment

The official enrolment period runs from March to 31st May and all enrolments received in this period shall be treated equally in accordance with the 'Enrolment Policy for Sydney Catholic Systemic Schools' (see 'CEO Policies' tab for more information). Enrolments may be considered at other times of the year depending on vacancies. Parents/Carers and their child will be invited to attend an interview with the Principal or Assistant Principal after the application has been received.

The application must be accompanied by a copy of the child’s birth certificate and baptismal certificate, including those children baptized at Our Lady Star of the Sea. Parents or children born overseas will need to present passports and visas. Immunisation certificates need to be submitted with the application or before the commencement of school.

The Enrolment Committee will consider all applications in the light of the mandatory and scaled priorities as outlined in the Enrolment Policy for Sydney Catholic Systemic Schools. After the committee has processed all applications, parents will be informed as to whether a place will be offered for their child. Unsuccessful applicants may be placed on a waiting list.

There will be an orientation and information meeting for parents of successful applicants, and an orientation and transition program for all the new Kindergarten children in November.
