For Students

Student Welfare

At Our Lady of Lourdes, we promote a healthy, safe and supportive learning environment for all students. Student welfare is a responsibility shared between home and school. The school has implemented programs to encourage positive social behaviours such as: 'Positive Behaviour for Learning' and weekly individual and class awards.

Student Leaders

Our students are valued for their contributions they make to our school community.

Student leaders are elected by the students each year. Two students in Year 6 are voted in as School Captains. Students also vote for House Colour Captains. Students in Year 6 have special responsibilities to support students in the library and on the playground. Each class votes for Student Representative Council members yr 2-6.  PBL Ambassadors Year 5 and 6 .These students are involved in a variety of school activities such as weekly assemblies, sport carnivals, the annual National Young Leaders Day, committees, and delivering special occasion addresses.
