SCS Safe Communities (CSC) WWCC Accreditation Process

In accordance with  the NSW child protection legislation and Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS) policies and procedures, contractors or volunteers who engage in child-related work are required to complete the SCS Child Safe Communities (CSC) Contractors and Volunteers Working with Children (WWC) Accreditation Process, which involves being inducted in child protection, reading and understanding the obligations and procedures under the relevant child protection legislation and SCS policies, as well as providing their Working With Children Check (WWCC) clearance number for verification by SCS.

As part of this WWC Accreditation Process, you will be required to:

  • view an induction presentation on Child Safe Communities;

  • read the ‘SCS Volunteers Child Safe Communities Resource Kit’;

  • provide their contact details and their WWCC number (ending in V or E);

  • complete the ‘Safe Schools Expectations Undertaking’.
