Enrolment

Our enrolment packages for Kindergarten 2021 will be available from Monday 2 March 2020. Children born on or before 31 July 2016 are eligible for enrolment into Kindergarten 2021.

To obtain an enrolment package call into our school office between 8.30am – 3.30pm. There is a lot of information in the package so please take it home, read through it and complete all the forms in the envelope.

When you return the completed forms you will also need to bring the following documents along with you:

  • Birth Certificate
  • Baptismal Certificate
  • Immunisation Records
  • Family Photo
  • A report or portfolio from your child's Pre-school or Child Care Centre
  • Proof of residency if your child was born overseas
  • Proof of residency for one parent if both parents were born overseas
  • Evidence of time out of the country eg:  passport, plane tickets, overseas school reports (if applicable)
  • Relevant Family Court Orders (if applicable)
  • Relevant medical and / or special needs information including clinical / educational assessments and reports (if applicable)
  • Proof of residential address – Driver’s Licence (for both parents) and a Utility Bill 

We are unable to accept the enrolment forms until we have looked at all of the above documents.

When you return the forms and documents to school it will be checked by our administration staff and an enrolment fee will be taken.  An appointment with a member of the enrolment committee will be made for you.

By July you will be notified of the status of your child’s enrolment application. If your child is offered a place it is important you return the Enrolment Acceptance form by Friday 22 May 2020. Later we will send out details of the parent information meeting and children orientation days. Orientation will take place in November.

Enrolment Procedures for Years 1- 6

Enrolment applications for students wishing to attend Mary Immaculate Primary School in Years 1- 6 can call to our school office between 8.30am – 3.30pm any time throughout the year.

When you return the completed forms you will also need to bring the following documents along with you:

  • Birth Certificate
  • Baptismal Certificate
  • Immunisation Records
  • Family Photo
  • Proof of residency if your child was born overseas
  • Proof of residency for one parent if both parents were born overseas
  • Evidence of time out of the country eg:  passport, plane tickets, overseas school reports (if applicable)
  • Most recent previous school reports and external test results (including Naplan results)
  • Relevant Family Court Orders (if applicable)
  • Relevant medical and / or special needs information including clinical / educational assessments and reports (if applicable)
  • Proof of residential address – Driver’s Licence (for both parents) and a Utility Bill 

When you return the forms and documents to school it will be checked by our administration staff and an enrolment fee will be taken. If there is a position available in the grade you are seeking enrolment for, an appointment time will be made for you and your child to meet with a member of the enrolment committee.  If there is not a position available, your application will be placed on the Waiting List.  You will only be contacted if or when a position becomes available.

If your child is offered a place it is important you return the Enrolment Acceptance form by the due date
