Welcome to Mater Dei Catholic Primary School, a systemic school serving the parish of Mater Dei Blakehurst.

We are a co-educational two-stream school catering for students from Kindergarten to Year 6 with a current enrolment of 414, with 83% of them from a language background other than English. Our parish community is lead by our Parish Priest, Fr Isidore Anantharaj.

The school provides a diversity of rich prayer and liturgical experiences for students and their families. Throughout the year we come together for Sunday Grade Masses, followed by morning tea to build community with the parish. The preparation for the Sacraments of Penance, First Eucharist and Confirmation is school-based.

The school motto, 'Growing Together in Christ' summarises the purpose and spirit of our school. We come to Mater Dei to learn of the love of Jesus for us, to know and love him more, and to learn how to live in a Christ-like way. The core values of the school encourage respectful relationships, co-operation, acceptance, compassion, justice and forgiveness for all.

Last term, we contracted our school photographer to create a virtual tour of the school. Staff, students and parents were involved in this process. The tour can be viewed at the address below, to which it is linked.
