Student Welfare

The school actively promotes a healthy, supportive and secure environment for all children. Student welfare is a shared responsibility between home, school and the community. The school has implemented programs to encourage positive social behaviours and problem-solving skills. These programs include: Buddies, Anti-Bullying, Student Awards and Environmental Stewardship.

Student Leaders

As important members of the school community, students are valued for the contributions they can make to the school. Leadership potential is encouraged and supported.

The School Leadership Team is made up of the Student Representative Council and the Sports Captains. The SRC and Sports captains are made up of 16 students from Year 6 and the Sports Examples of the responsibilities of the School Leadership Team are: welcoming key visitors, outreach programs, joining appropriate committees, delivering special occasion addresses, organising sports carnival cheers and demonstrating school spirit.
