Principal's Message

Immaculate Heart of Mary (IHM) Catholic Primary School, Sefton is a Systemic Catholic Primary School in the Inner West Region of the Sydney Archdiocesan Catholic Schools System and has a student population of approximately 390 - educating boys and girls from Kindergarten to Year 6.

Our parish priest, Fr Greg MacGregor, has a great interest in our school. Fr Greg is a great supporter of our school who really assists our community in its faith life.

With a school motto of In Giving We Receive, IHM uses Jesus as a model for all that we do.

At IHM we are committed to providing a happy and safe environment where all members of the community are respected and encouraged to achieve their best. Students are provided with a variety of learning experiences and activities which cater for individual needs.

Our school provides programs which cater for the varying needs of the students.

IHM also offers opportunities for children to enjoy participation in a range of sports. This year we have again engaged the services of Got Game to further develop the skills and physical activity of our students.

Our school takes great pride in the wide range of creative opportunities we provide, from inter-school debating to visual arts.

All of these programs add to the richness of the school and present stimulating and interesting opportunities for the students.

We are currently looking at enrolments for Kindergarten 2020. Please contact the school office for more details.

This website will give you a glimpse into life at IHM and an idea of the educational opportunities that we offer our community.

I trust you will enjoy your visit.
