Principal's Message

Immaculate Heart of Mary (IHM) Catholic Primary School, Sefton is a Systemic Catholic Primary School in the Inner West Region of the Sydney Archdiocesan Catholic Schools System and has a student population in excess of 400 - educating boys and girls from Kindergarten to Year 6.

Our Parish Priest, Fr Pat Moroney (omi), has an active role and is very supportive of our school.

With a school motto of In Giving We Receive, IHM uses Jesus as a model for all that we do.

At IHM we are committed to providing a happy and safe environment where all members of the community are respected and encouraged to achieve their best. Students are provided with a variety of learning experiences and activities which cater for individual needs.

Our school provides programs which cater for the varying needs of the students.

IHM also offers opportunities for children to enjoy participation in a range of sports. These programs add to the richness of the school and present stimulating and interesting opportunities for the students.

Our school takes great pride in the wide range of creative opportunities we provide, from inter-school debating to visual arts.

The P&F Association is very active in its support of the school. You will find a link to the P&F on this site. We value the contribution of parents and friends who assist the school in many ways.

This website will give you a glimpse into life at IHM and an idea of the educational opportunities that we offer our community.

I trust you will enjoy your visit.
