Note taking - Class and Study

Note taking is one of the best ways to prepare for your HSC.
Notes are important as they allow you to record key ideas from the resource that you have viewed, you would not wish to revisit all of the textbooks, podcasts and videos that you accessed during the year. Your notes will be a concentrate of these in one place.
The other important advantage of note taking is that you are able to collate notes from differing sources together for ease of access later.
Use meaningful headings and subheadings in your note taking process. Do not record everything you read or are viewing. Instead only record the key ideas, themes, definitions, evidence etc.
