Champagnat Catholic College Pagewood, formally Marist College Pagewood, educating young men in the Marist tradition.

Welcome to Champagnat College Pagewood!

Known as Marist College Pagewood for more than 50 years, the College became Champagant College Pagewood in 2014 to reflect a new approach to the delivery of boys’ education.

At Champagnat College, the Middle School (Years 7, 8 and 9) uses a project-based and enquiry-based learning approach to really engage boys in their learning. Every boy has a personalised learning plan leading to an individual career pathway. It is all about encouraging every student to take responsibility for building his own future through his learning.

In the senior school (Year 10, 11 and 12), each boy is enrolled in an appropriate pathway that will lead to a successful post-school life. Boys may choose an academic pathway that will lead to university enrolment, an applied pathway that may include vocational courses and trade training or one that combines both.

Champagnat has a vertical pastoral structure, which means that boys across Years 7 – 12 are in pastoral (homeroom) classes together. This provides opportunities for mentorship and the building of a holistic school culture where all boys, regardless of the age, support each other.

Champagnat College Pagewood College strives to uphold the teachings of Saint Marcellin Champagnat, the founder of the Marist Brothers, to ensure that every student is treated as an individual and loved equally in the eyes of God.

Our college, with its rich history and extraordinary community spirit, is about to enter a new era of achievement and excellence. With its outstanding facilities and deeply committed staff, the future is bright for Champagnat College Pagewood.

With my very best wishes,

David McInnes
